First search
Begin by identifying the first searchable area and recording what your game actually shows. Do not infer a fixed item location from a screenshot or an old community post.
Hay clearing
Clear hay only when your current search route calls for it, then compare the result with the route notes. This keeps a reported shortcut from becoming an assumed requirement.
Upgrades
Review upgrades as choices with costs and outcomes to verify in your own run. This guide does not assign an untested upgrade order.
Classes and gems
Track the class and gem options you encounter, including their displayed effects, before deciding whether they support your chosen route.
Chapter 2 basement
In the Chapter 2 basement, keep the goal in view: the confirmed objective is to find the key and escape. Record any variation you see before treating it as a stable route.
